You were a smart Lottery Number Picker & you’ve won the lottery. Great! Now your problems start…

For example, what happens when you can’t get into the lottery headquarters to present your ticket until Monday? You can’t put it into a safe deposit box because the banks are closed. How do you keep it secure? This kind of scenario often goes through the minds of many winners. So they sleep with the ticket under their pillow. Some others will put it in the fridge, thinking this will be the last place a burglar would look (wrong – skilled burglars are far more savvy than you realize!)

There are many other questions that winnners wonder about. Here are the top 7 problems, along with some solutions…

1. You lose your ticket…
Not good. You might lose your money, because to claim your prize you must present your winning ticket. Without your ticket, there is no proof of ownership, and this means you won’t be able to collect your winnings. First step is to sign your ticket. By signing it acts as strong security against someone else trying to claim your prize if your ticket is lost or stolen. But usually your money is gone for good unless you have the physical ticket. Even a photocopy is unlikely to get accepted by the lottery organization.

2. Your ticket is stolen…
The obvious answer is not to tell a soul until you receive the check from the lottery organization. But you can protect it first by signing it with your name and address. Washington’s Lottery explains: “Like currency or dollar bills, Lottery tickets are ‘bearer instruments’ in that the holder of the ticket is the owner, unless the ticket is signed. By signing the back of your Lottery ticket, you make the ticket officially ‘yours’. Only the person whose name matches the signature on the ticket may claim its winnings.”

3. You’re asked to share a gift ticket proceeds…
There have been many cases where a lotto ticket was given as a gift, and the giver received nothing back in return. Since the prize is seen as ‘found’ money – money that cost little to obtain – so there will always be resentment that the giver didn’t receive any part of the winnings. Why not split it with them? Even a 90/10 split will go a long way to keeping the friendship.

4. Your family makes claims…
As in (3), if you worry about your family claiming a portion of the prize, then why not split the money up equally among all the family?

5. You miss the expiry deadline…
Lottery tickets do expire, so you need to check the dates on the back of the ticket. If you miss the deadline, you’re unlikely to get your prize. The best way is to make a regular trip to your lotto store after each game and have them put the tickets through their machine. You get added security by knowing there won’t be any mistakes too.

6. You get discovered…
The Powerball website says you can’t remain anonymous when you win one of their big prizes, and many other games have similar rules. The USA Powerball website FAQ says: “All but three states (DE, KS, ND) have laws that require the lottery to release the name & city of residence to anyone who asks.

One state (SC) will keep your name secret if you request it, but if someone files a Freedom of Information Act request, you may have to file a plea with the judge to deny it. Another state (OK) now has a law that allows you to claim in a trust and to keep your name from the press (though the lottery will run checks on you).” From http://www.powerball.com/pb_contact.asp

Check out your own lottery website for its policy on keeping your name out of the media. It’s worthwhile staying under cover for as long as you can.

7. You get begging letters…
Conceal your winning amount so you don’t receive them, or move. Or ignore the letters. There’s no secret to avoiding these letters except by not receiving them in the first place.

Watch out for these problems and take steps to minimize the effects. After all, spending your winnings is already stressful enough!

Here are some words of experiance and wisdom from the developer of the Silver Lotto System. Thought you’d like to read it right from the source. Here is Ken Silver’s take on mistakes that a Lottery Number Picker can make that are not in their best interest…

Mistake #1. You’re not playing enough lines. One Profile line or even 5 lines per game is not enough! Use more, many more. Save up and wait if necessary until you can afford a whole card in one game.

Mistake #2. You’re playing too many games with too few numbers; keep focused. You can’t play 4 different games each week with a few lines in each and expect to get any result. Focus in on one
game, play big and stick with it.

Mistake #3. You’ve given up because you’re not winning each week. Keep going! Persist! Success comes to the tryers, the players, the involved, the do-ers. Not the stay-at-homers or the once-only’s.

Mistake #4. You don’t play each week. You need to get in to win. Lotto is like going to a baseball game… you won’t get inside the stadium unless you’ve bought a ticket at the gate. Get in the game!

Mistake #5. You need to build goals and believe in your dream. This is no UFO nonsense. Unless you have a set of strong goals fuelled by vivid dreams, you’ll give up at the first sign of defeat. So keep striving and believing.

As to the Silver Lotto System, there’s no need to toss a coin to choose your numbers. You’ve probably observed that some lottery number picker systems throw a bunch of numbers around to try and get the winning line. But many of these number selection methods are flawed:

They rely on popular “hot” numbers. Have you tried this to only have the hot number disappear in the outcome, just when you needed it.

Perhaps your ticket contains “cold’ numbers, a selection of numbers which haven’t appeared for a while. Same as your hot numbers – wild guess.

Some Lottery Number Picker systems use many lines of similar numbers, altered by one number each line. This “wheeling” system is hugely wasteful; why? Because it only aims at a limited target.

The Silver Lotto System is different. It is far superior to the above methods because it removes the vast majority of losing numbers beforehand to reveal the greatest possibility of winning numbers. Neat, eh?

It’s the only system to do this, and is unique in the lottery world. With the Silver Lotto System it’s like bringing the shooting target to within arm’s length of you.

There is a huge difference between every other lottery number picker system in the world, and the Silver System. It’s a timely discussion even more now, because so many people are confused with the contradictions in choosing a system.

You can certainly wager on the fact that the Silver System is as different as chalk is to cheese (and tastes better too!). You needn’t ever again have to toss a coin to get the best lottery number picker system.

A Lotto Primer: If you want to know the secret to picking lotto numbers, read on. Herein will be some tips on how to be an intellegent Lottery Number Picker. Click on that link for a lotto quiz and offer.

Do people win the lottery more often by being a Lottery Number Picker using their own numbers? Or is a random quick-pick ticket just the same? Quick-pick tickets are certainly a popular and convenient way to play the lottery. But you think, might my chances be better if I carefully select the numbers yourself? What kind of system might exhist that allows for an intelligent selection of numbers?

Here I’ll point out a lottery quiz from Ken Silver. Take a moment & give it a try.

The fact agreed upon by many lottery experts is that a quick-pick ticket has the same chance of winning as a ticket made up of carefully selected lucky numbers. It may not be as much fun, but if you’re in a hurry a quick-pick may not hurt your chances of winning the lottery. But what if there was an intelligent way to cipher the numbers and give oneself an added advantage over a random picking of numbers?
